Auction Items and Experiences Wanted!

The success of the auction depends on several factors including how many items and experiences we have for parents to bid on. Silent Auction volunteers are soliciting business donations. In the past, we have had our parents graciously donate many items and experiences and we are so appreciative!

 

***Have an item you could donate to Silent Auction?***

If you have season tickets to sporting events or the arts (plays, ballets, etc..), you can donate those items to be bid on! In addition, if you own a time share or vacation home you could donate this as a live auction item. Do you have unused gift cards lying around? Those help too! ***Silent Auction Children Socials and Parent Socials Desired!***

Children & Parent Socials are parties hosted by a Clermont family/supporter where a specified number of “tickets” are sold at the auction at a set price on a first come basis. These can be for children or adults-only. Hosts set the details/themes of the party and contribute the costs of the event, so that full ticket price from the Social is donated to the Clermont PTA. Often times, Socials have multiple hosts to share the costs of the Social. In the past, there has usually been at least one Social offered per grade level.

 

***Examples of Parent Socials from previous years:***

  • 2nd Grade Moms Wine Night In
  • 6th Grade Moms Night Out
  • March Madness Final Four Party
  • Whiskey Enthusiast Tasting
  • I compost, you compost, we all scream for compost!

 

***Examples of Children Socials from previous years:***

  • 3rd Grade Boys Basketball
  • 1st Grade Paint and Popsicles
  • 4th Grade Outdoor Move Night

These Socials are an excellent opportunity to meet and get to know better other students and/or parents at Clermont Elementary School and do not have to cost anything but time. For example, in the past we have had a parent social to meet in the park for an hour and do yoga.

 

Several years ago, based on parent feedback, we discontinued Classroom Baskets and asking parents for additional donations towards that. We are hopeful we can obtain at least one social per grade level as these are very popular. Thanks for your consideration!

The 2025 Silent Auction will be BODACIOUS!!

The highly popular Clermont Elementary PTA Silent Auction will return in 2025, and we are going back to the 80s!!!! The event will once again be held at the beautiful ALX atrium in Alexandria (on the corner of Washington and Duke Streets) on Saturday March 8th at 6:00pm! There will be a live band (Diplomatic Immunity), plenty of delicious food and great drinks (soft drinks, beer, wine, champagne & non-alcoholic beer). The PTA Silent Auction is one of our largest fundraising events of the year.  It allows the PTA to sponsor a vast number of programs throughout the year that benefit ALL Clermont students, including Enrichment Programs, School Field Trips, Classroom Instructional Supplies, New Technology, Assemblies, and more.  Please click on the "Tickets" tab to purchase your pass to this event and get excited for a totally tubular evening!

Arrive Early and Receive Courtesy Professional Digital Photos – NEW

On auction night, between 6-7pm, Emily Campos, from Emily Campos Photography and Clermont parent, will be taking photos of individuals, couples and friends at the ballon arch photocall! Want multiple pictures with friends or groups, let’s capture the moments! Digital pictures will be saved to a website collection and the link emailed out to all attendees following the auction. Due to the large number of guests, we do not have the ability to send out photos individually. Get your ticket, come early and smile!

We already have several businesses that are once again sponsoring the auction, and we have room for more! By sponsoring, businesses receive a lot of exposure! Each sponsorship includes 2 tickets to the event. Sponsors also receive signage* at the event and mentions by the MC of appreciation during the event. Science Festival - POSTPONED

With FCPS having closed the school for inclement weather on Wednesday February 12, our Science Festival has been postponed.  We hope to share the new date as soon as we can.
